Parents were urged to report any side-effects occurring three days after vaccination. When a vaccine reaction occurs rapidly after inoculation there is always the danger that over time the child may experience serious side- effects.

In October 2012, a suspension of the hexavalent vaccine Infanrix Hexa was applied in many countries around the world.
