The fourth season of the Emmy-nominated satirical sketch comedy series, which stars co-creators Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein, will consist of 10 episodes. Armisen and Brownstein announced the new season on IFC's Instagram account.
Guest stars for Season 4 will include Tunde Adebimpe (TV On The Radio), Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys), Vanessa Bayer ("Saturday Night Live"), Kirsten Dunst, Joshua Homme (Queens of the Stone Age), singer-songwriter k.d. lang, Duff McKagan (Gun N' Roses), Silas Weir Mitchell ("Grimm"), Michael Nesmith (The Monkees), Maya Rudolph, columnist Dan Savage, Nick Swardson, Jeff Tweedy (Wilco), members of the Portland Trail Blazers, Olivia Wilde and more.
Returning guest stars from the first three seasons include Ed Begley Jr., Steve Buscemi, Jeff Goldblum, Kyle MacLachlan, Jason Sudeikis, Kumail Nanjiani, Gus Van Sant and Annie Clark (St. Vincent).
"Whether there is no shortage of celebrities who want to visit Portland, or 'Portlandia' has an endless number of friends, it's good news for IFC viewers and we're once again blown away by the creativity and talent this show brings to our air every season," Jennifer Caserta, president and general manager of IFC, said in a statement.
The cable network renewed the series for a fourth and fifth season back in June to air in 2014 and 2015.
