On March 16 The Oregonian reports that a Portland Department of Corrections Probation Office was vandalized late Saturday night following a protest in the area.
The probation office located on SW 10th Ave is the county's Domestic Violence Unit. A spokesperson says that the county received a phone call from the Portland Police after photos of boarded up windows on the building were found on Reddit. As of yet, the extent of the damage is still unknown because the office has been closed all weekend long.
Reddit suggests that the vandalism is tied to a protest that was held in the same area downtown. Sources have confirmed that a protest was held, but not that the incident is related. Until someone can get into the office Monday morning, there is no idea what the inside of the building looks like or if anything was taken.
So far, there are no suspects in the case.
