Portland Meadows Announces Off-Track Betting Tour In September

Portland gamblers won’t be the only ones hitting the track this month. Portland Meadows, Oregon’s premier horse track raceway will be going on the road later this month with an off-track betting (OTB) party tour across the entire state.

Portland Meadows OTF parties will feature cash giveaways, prizes and great deals on food, like free cake! Bettors can pick up an extra $20 to $100 bucks playing ‘Beat The Announcer’.

This intriguing game gives horse racing enthusiasts a chance to put their picks up against that of the announcer, Jason Beem. If the bettors pick win over Jason’s pick, the bettor is awarded $20. Win another bet and the prize jumps to $30. Three wins ups the prize to $50, and four wins grants a whopping $100 in cold hard cash. If any player manages to hit all four picks, 10 other lucky patrons will also be awarded with a $10 prize.

The Portland Meadows OFB tour will begin Friday, September 11 with a stop at Lava Lanes in Bend, Oregon from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Saturday, the tour stops in Springfield for an afternoon OTB party at Trakstirs from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The next stop will be Albany, Oregon the following weekend. Friday, September 18 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Portland Meadows tour will land in the Favorite Mistake, then it’s over to Salem’s Players OTB for a special Sunday afternoon party from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

As September is rolling to a close, the OTB party picks up steam for the big finale. Friday, September 25 will feature not one, but two parties. The first will return to the track’s hometown, where Portland gambling fans can hit the New Portland Rose from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The tour then heads to Coach’s Best Bet later that same day in Beaverton, 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Saturday, September 26 the party moves to Fairview’s Alexander OTB from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Finally, the tour wraps up in Tigard, Oregon and Portland Meadows newest OTB facility, Rialto-Tigard from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
