The rumors regarding an Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi divorce just won't seem to die. The couple has been plagued by rumors off-and-on for months now and it seems there's another round of rumors floating around. There never seems to be any substantial sources behind the rumors, but Ellen and Portia just can't seem to get out from under these.

One of the latest rumors regarding an Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi divorce came via a story in OK! magazine. It seems, according to the tabloid story, that Sofia Vergara is too chummy with Ellen and it's causing intense friction between the married couple. Luckily Gossip Cop addressed this one and their source said this story is “laughable.”

Just a matter of weeks before that OK! claim, that same tabloid was reporting that Ellen and Portia were planning an August vow renewal. Supposedly the couple is even talking about adopting a baby. Once again, Gossip Cop comes to the rescue. Neither the vow renewal or adoption stories are accurate. Though many keep wanting these two to have a baby, they've made it very clear that they do not plan to have kids.

Though de Rossi and DeGeneres have tried to these rumors before, the tabloids just don't listen. Being a content and happy couple doesn't sell tabloids. Why are these two the focus of so many divorce rumors and stories? That much isn't clear, but it does seem to be a story that just won't die. Though it keeps coming up, there really is never anything concrete behind the rumors.

If at some point Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi do divorce, there will probably be many who said they saw it coming. However, it does seem that the duo is just doing what they do in their everyday lives while trying to ignore the gossip and unfounded rumors. Do you think things are going well with the couple, or is there a split on the horizon?
