On Friday morning a homeowner found a cat duct taped, soaked in a flammable liquid, and burned in Port Orchard, Wash. according to Q13Fox.com.
The cat was found hiding in a flower bed and was taken to the Cedar Creek Animal Hospital.
According to Dr. Mike Alberts, owner of the pet hospital, the one-year-old kitten was lucky because the burns were superficial. And as is so amazing in animal behavior and their ability to forgive, the young cat is reported to be extremely sweet and affectionate.
Congratulations to Dr. Albert who has a special fund for the treatment of stray animals.
The cat will be in the future care of the Kitsap Humane Society. If anyone has any information about the culprit who tortured this cat, please call (360) 692-6977.
