Ever since Porsha Williams dragged Kenya Moore to and across the floor by her hair at the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" season six reunion show, many have wondered whether she would return for season seven or if her physical attack automatically meant walking papers for her. Contrary to reports that Porsha has been fired from the show, Porsha recently gave an interview where she hinted that she's not going anywhere.
As reported by All About The Real Housewives on Wednesday, May 21, Porsha, during her talk with "The Rickey Smiley Morning Show," spoke out about the possibility of NeNe Leakes leaving. She said that even if NeNe leaves, she thinks that the show will still go on since viewers will still want to see the other housewives in action.
Porsha included herself in the possible scenario of a show without NeNe, indicating that she indeed will be returning, or at least hasn't been told that she has been fired just yet. “Will the show go on? I think it will because it’s an ensemble cast. I have people who like me, and Kandi, and Phaedra, et cetera," she said.
And if NeNe does in fact leave, Porsha believes that it will have been the result of a mutual decision rather than a firing. She pointed out that NeNe has been very vocal lately about not liking the show's negative direction and increased drama. She also pointed out that NeNe, who "will definitely be missed" if she leaves, recently sent a tweet telling people to not continue in a job that they don't enjoy.
If, however, NeNe does stay to continue her queen bee status amongst the Atlanta housewives, Porsha has no problem with her being a diva. She said that NeNe, as the one housewife who has been on the show since the very first season, deserves the right to be a diva.
NeNe Leakes has actually spoken out about her future on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta." She told the NY Daily News while at NBCUniversal Entertainment Cable's upfronts last Thursday that she's not sure whether she wants to continue as a full-time housewife, indicating that she will return but only as a recurring housewife, or what is known as a "friend of the housewives." Perhaps Porsha Williams will join her as a recurring housewife for season seven as well?
