Porsha Williams is facing serious legal problems and could lose her wages from the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” to garnishment. The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports on Jan. 22 that Williams is in trouble because she is behind in her payments to the homeowners association. The association has already filed the necessary paperwork to get payments through garnishment.
Williams no longer lives in the condo at Grandview at Buckhead Heights, but the homeowners association is still going after her for unpaid bills. The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star allowed the property to go into foreclosure after her divorce. However, this did not free her from the fees charged by the homeowners association.
In recent episodes of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Williams was seen showing off her new 8,000 square-foot mansion to NeNe Leakes. However, it is rumored that Williams has not been able to keep up with the payments on the new house and has moved in with her mother again.
Williams is receiving an undisclosed sum for her appearance on the reality television show, and she is allegedly getting alimony from her ex-husband that is estimated to be $5,000 a month. Her old homeowners association wants $18,000 in fees, and Williams is apparently not able to pay the entire amount. The housewife has not officially responded to the homeowners association or the court papers.
