Porsha Stewart’s blackout on ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ blamed on booze?

Porsha Stewart definitely has the fans trying to decipher why she claimed she had a blackout on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” The reality star got into an altercation with Kenya Moore and she offered up an interesting moment for the reunion show on Sunday night. While the star seemed coherent after the brawl, she told Andy Cohen that she had a “blackout.” According to Reality TV Magazine on Tuesday, fans are wondering if there was alcohol or drugs involved for this unexplained moment lost in time.

There has been plenty of speculation on what happened to cause Porsha to engage on a physical level. Was it the provoking words that Kenya Moore didn't stop taunting her with? Was it the bullhorn? Or was there something else that pushed her over the edge and made Porsha Stewart decide to grab at Kenya Moore and then remember nothing else.

Reporting by Radar Online on Tuesday alleges it could have been booze and drugs. The site suggests there were two bottles of wine close to Porsha Stewart and even offered up a picture for fans to see. The liquid courage could be an explanation, but there had to be drugs involved to blackout. The combination of painkillers following her recent breast augmentation or if Porsha was taking medicine to deal with depression could have contributed to her blackout.

The worst thing about Porsha Stewart’s description of blacking out is for viewers. It was dark off the set of the show so did the reality star mean darkness or really referencing a medical condition where she could remember what happened next? Or was it an excuse for her actions to buy her some time?

The altercation between Porsha Stewart and Kenya Moore is far from resolved. Kenya expects an apology and has filed a police report. As the show must go on, the next installment of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” will air on Sunday.
