Porn star Ron Jeremy (59) (AKA Hedgehog) has been hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after complications from a heart aneurysm as per reports from Chicago Tribune on Jan. 30.
Born Ronald Jeremy Hyatt, the adult film star took the pornography business by storm when he took over the porn torch after John Holmes died in 1988.
Jeremy’s manager Mike Esterman commented:
"He just felt chest pains, like a very heavy weight."
"He is being worked on for an aneurysm near his heart."
Surgery for the aneurysm near his heart took place on Wednesday. Esterman tweeted following the Hedgehog’s surgery: "Please keep Ron in your thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery."
Ron Jeremy is known for his work in adult films such as “High Heels, Low Standards”, “A Christmas Orgy”, and “21 Hump Street”.
