Porn movie and reality star Ron Jeremy is in critical condition at a Los Angeles hospital after being treated for an aneurysm near his heart, according to TMZ. The incident with Jeremy happened on the afternoon of Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013.
Mike Esterman, Jeremy's manager, told TMZ that the 59-year-old actor actually drove himself to Cedars-Sinai hospital on Tuesday afternoon due to suffering from severe chest pain. Doctors examined Jeremy and noticed that he had experienced an aneurysm.
Once being transferred to ICU, Esterman reports that Jeremy's condition actually worsened and he was being prepared for surgery. The surgery was set to take place sometime on early Wednesday afternoon.
For those not familiar with Jeremy he has appeared in more than 2,000 X-rated movies throughout his career which spans multiple decades. His porn career did lead him on to other business ventures as well.
Jeremy has appeared on "Tosh.O," "Chappelle's Show," and "The Surreal Life."
There is no word on exactly what type of procedure that Jeremy will be going through, but hopefully doctors will be able to get him to a full recovery.
