Lindsay Lohan has remained in the news with her legal problems, but her career continues to hit roadblocks as well. Recently her upcoming movie, "The Canyons," hit the news when Lohan faced accusations of abusive actions on the set. CNN reported on Jan. 16 that co-star James Deen finally spoke out about the controversy.
The original story of Lohan's actions came out in the New York Times, where the actress was accused of showing up late to set, verbally abusing the director and Deen, and drinking onset during the shoot. Lohan said everything, except for the drinking, was true.
Deen, a porn star making a rare independent movie appearance, agrees that the events were all true as the newspaper depicted them, but was "reflected in a mirror and retold for dramatic effect." He said none of the accusations were lies but they were never as bad as the write-up made it seem. He even seemed to understand when Lohan verbally ripped into him, an event that recorded on audio that ended up on the Internet.
James Deen said that he was making the movie for fun, something that made Lohan mad, leading to her explosion.
"It’s just the delicate ego of the Hollywood person," Deen said of Lohan. "I’ve learned that most people in the Hollywood mainstream world are so delicate, fragile and egotistical. [Comments like mine] really f*** with their heads."
Deen also said he has no problem with Lindsay Lohan and said that, while they have different lifestyles, she doesn't bother him at all.
