Pork-eating Christians

Two pork haters.

The Essenes, who wrote the Dead Sea Scrolls, were a denomination of Judaism. Christianity is a denomination of Judaism, according to Matthew 5:17-20 - “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.”

These Bible verses mean that none of the laws of the Old Testament disappear for Christians (unless Paul contradicts and overrides Jesus Christ?). Jesus strongly approves of the law and the prophets. Jesus hasn't the slightest objection to the cruelties of the Old Testament. Jesus says that the Old Testament laws are binding on Christians forever. Real Christians are obligated to obey the following Old Testament commandments: Male infant circumcision, kosher-kashrut dietary laws, mandatory beards and payot-sidelocks (Leviticus 19:27), yarmulke skullcaps, animal sacrifices, polygamy, and Solomon-style slavery.

If Christianity could be converted into a simple mathematical formula it would probably be: Good works (James 2:14-26) plus Faith (gospel of John) equals heaven bound. Alas, many Protestant/evangelical/fundamentalist Christians disagree with this math formula. Jack Chick likes to claim that good works are not the way into heaven but he fails to explain those verses (like James 2:14-26, Psalm 62:12, Jeremiah 17:10, Matthew 16:27, Matthew 25:41-46, and Revelation 20:12-13) which state that good works are required for salvation. Numbers 31:17-18 - “Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.” Pork-hating Zionists murdered American peacemaker Rachel Corrie in 2003 (Matthew 5:9).
