Popular Dan Sullivan re-signs with Gladiators

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced that they have agreed to terms with
forward Dan Sullivan for the 2010-2011 season.

“Sully has worked hard in all situations sacrificing to try to help the team as
much as he can and I think he is learning more and more as he goes,” said
Gladiators Head Coach Jeff Pyle. “He thinks a lot of our organization and
deserves a chance to prove he should be here. He knows there is no guarantee but
he is healthy and in great shape and has looked good in the skating sessions I
have watched. He brings an element we need. He hits, he fights and he can
score.”

Sullivan returns to Gwinnett after skating with the Gladiators during each of
the past two seasons. He finished with 33 points (15 goals, 18 assists) in 50
games last season. Sullivan also posted 72 penalty minutes during the year, his
lowest season total in that category in a complete season in his professional
career. During the 2008-09 season, Sullivan played in a career best 70 games
for the Gladiators.
