Popular chain restaurant manager caught violating health codes on camera

The Pizza Hut in Kermit, West Virginia recently came under fire because of the district manager’s decision to urinate in the kitchen sink. This incident occurred after hours, but various health code violations were broken, and the restaurant has been shut down while under investigation.

Pizza Hut’s corporate office released this statement:
“Pizza Hut has zero tolerance for violations of our operating standards, and the local owner of the restaurant took immediate action and terminated the employee involved,” the company said in a statement. “While the isolated incident occurred during non-business hours and did not involve any food tampering, we follow strict safety and handling procedures and the restaurant has since been closed. We apologize to our customers of Kermit, West Virginia and those in our system who have been let down by this situation.”

A cleaning crew is flying in from Texas to clean and sanitize the location, as well as the other restaurants the district manager was in charge of, including Pizza Huts in Ceredo, Danville, Chapmanville and Logan.

Does this make you look at other Pizza Hut locations differently? Does it make you want to stop eating at restaurants all together?
