Pop white girl MAIR reintroduced at MIA Lounge (Photos)

Hundreds packed MIA Lounge Saturday night in support of pop sensation MAIR's Allow Me To Re-Introduce Myself album release party.. The atmosphere was charged and the energy was set at high octane. The DJ shook the tables and walls with powerful bass and beats as the crowd jammed and danced the night away. The bombshell of the beats finally arrived to an eagerly anticipating crowd looking amazing in a black and white diamond print couture dressed designed by stylist Tia Chanay . After an array of camera flashes and candid photo shoots MAIR was whisked away for a quick wardrobe change and up on stage to perform. Accompanied by her background dancers and choreographer Shane and Karee, MAIR thoroughly entertained the crowd.

In case you've been under a rock and have never heard of MAIR here's a little backdrop. She's a self proclaimed pop white girl (However I am predicting major crossover success.) who released her first EP under Braat Musik/ADA/WMG in the summer of ’09 and has since recorded a string of note worthy singles like Mary Alice, Hey Hey, and The Writing's On The Wall; all of which comprise her befittingly titled debut album. True to the art form of pop there are 19 tracks on Allow Me To Re-Introduce Myself that range from sugary upbeat records to gritty and inconveniently truthful anthems[Mary Alice]; some incorporating rap for a splash of street cred[Bang Bang]. Bottom line, this girl is definitely going places. MAIR is grassroots greatness at it's best. it is not common anymore for an artists to grow up before the fans musically, but with MAIR an awesome woman is unfolding before our very ears. Needless to say the album release party was a success of many more soon to come.
