As 2013 takes up where 2012 left off there is yet another celebrity death.
Songbird Patti Page has passed away at the age of 85 of unknown causes. (TheWrap Music)
Miss Page's star started rising in the 1950s with several sweet songs such as
"Tennessee Waltz" and "How Much is that Doggy in the Window?" Her voice was well suited to such pop tunes.
Patti went from hosting a small country music show (she was a daughter of Claremore, Okla.) to being one of the biggest pop stars of her time. Page produced 15 hits that sold over one million copies between, 1950 and 1965.
In Page's career she only won one Grammy Award for "Live at Carnegie Hall: The 50th Anniversary Concert". She is scheduled to receive a lifetime achievement award at this years Grammy Award ceremonies.
Patti Page is survived by a son, a daughter and several grandchildren.

There were many more. Miss Page was a superstar of her time and will be missed.
