Pop Outerwear Slim Fit Cargo Pant review

Pop Outerwear is new to the snowsports outerwear community. The company’s recipe for success is an apparel line that mixes one-part urban with one-part backcountry.

The Slim Fit Cargo Pant is touted by the company as functional for any part of the mountain while chic enough to keep on for a trendy tapas restaurant with your boarding buds.

The product design includes an outer layer that is wind and waterproof, taped seams, zipper boot extensions, adjustable waist and 10g insulation. The durable outer layer of the Slim Fit Cargo Pant is built for excessive wear.

A wearer of the Slim Fit Cargo Pant will undoubtedly be responsible for carrying the brews to the warming hut for the on-slope beer barrage. More than a 6-pack of beer can be jammed in the six bottomless pockets located on the Slim Fit Cargo Pant. A zippered vent is located on each inner thigh for air conditioning for temps that push above freezing.

A partial fleece lining runs from your butt to the bottom of your hamstring  keeping  you warmer riding a cold metal lift. A bit of flair is added to the black Slim Fit Cargo Pant with turquoise-colored zippers and buttons.

The Pop Outerwear Slim Fit Cargo Pant kept the water out even when drenched with a heavy rain. The rough-and-tumble outer fabric is a definite plus in the pant’s design. Starfishing down the slope is never planned, but it will eventually happen. And it will happen repeatedly for the noob rider. A durable snow pant like the Slim Fit Cargo Pant will wear longer than others.

The fit is consistent with the product name – slim. Even with the adjustable waist, the pant has a sleeker fit. Be sure to check the fit guide on the company’s site. Consider up-sizing if you are concerned about getting the proper fit. (MSRP $159.99)
