The Golden State Warriors dropped to 1-2 in the preseason after Tuesday night's 101-78 blowout loss at Utah.
Marreese Speights led Golden State with 13 points and six rebounds while Stephen Curry and David Lee scored 10 points each, and Andrew Bogut had 10 rebounds, but that was not enough to overcome a night in which the team shot a horrendous 32 percent from the floor.
Backup centers Ognjen Kuzmic and Dewayne Dedmon both blocked two shots apiece and Kuzmic wasn't credited with a third.
John Lucas III led the Jazz with 16 points and was one of six Utah players to score double digit points.
Joe Alexander (tibial stress reaction, left leg) did not play while Harrison Barnes (left foot inflammation), Jermaine O'Neal (lower back pain), and Festus Ezeli (knee surgery) were not with the team.
The Warriors now travel to China where they’ll play the Lakers twice as part of the NBA Global Games. The first game will be on October 15th at 4:00 a.m.
