It was their 16th straight match away from home that Melbourne Heart weren't able to pick up the three points.
Melbourne Heart actually started the better site as Andrea Migliliorini was able to put Iain Ramsay through just five minutes in but could only send his shot wide.
Heart continued to dominate as Corey Brown allowed Michael Mifsud to rush past his defender and run through on goal but shot wide.
In the 13th minute Melbourne Heart had another chance as Iain Ramsay was able to hit an impressive free-kick that went just over the bar.
Brisbane Roar finally got their first chance shortly afterward as Matt McKay made a run past his defenders but could only send his effort wide of goal.
That lead to a period of Brisbane being in control with Luke Brattan able to steal possession from Luke Brattan and send through Henrique but Henrique's shot wasn't able to get his shot on target.
The final chance of the half fell to Thomas Broich who was able to take advantage of space and shoot from 25 meters out but it was gathered by Andrew Redmayne on the second attempt.
RIght after the break Brisbane had another chance as Kwame Yeboah was played through at the near post but he couldn't beat Redmayne.
But they didn't have to wait long for their opening goal as they found it one minute later when Luke Brattan found Henrique who controlled with his chest and was then able to finish the opening goal.
In the 57th minute Henrique very nearly made it two as he was denied by a save from Redmayne despite an impressive strike from Henrique.
Ramsay could then have pulled one back for Heart as he was able to hit a powerful strike from long range that bounced back off of the post before Brisbane cleared.
In the 65th minute Brisbane had their second as Dimitri Petratos was able to make space for a powerful shot that was well saved by Redmayne who could only parry allowing Henrique to tap home the equalizer.
In the 77th minute Ivan Franjic was able to chip a ball over the top of the Heart defense allowing Matt McKay to cross in for Matt Smith who was able to put in the goal that won the match 3-0 for Brisbane.
