Pool Season is officially open

Its pool season and we have a beach front seat to all the parties, hotels and venues with the best crowds, specials and entertainment. This summer is expected to be one of the hottest ever, not because we have the best attractions and nightclubs in the world but because Las Vegas technically did not have such a cold winter. As Las Vegas prepares for triple digit weather, we plan to keep you up to date on the best spots to cool off. MGM Resorts International has already kicked the pool season off with a “variety of options for each type of sun-worshipper” who prefer a quiet, child-free environment.

Guests can reserve premium chaise lounge chairs or posh daybeds at Cypress Pool at Bellagio that comes with a personal Cypress host. As guests gaze at the picturesque the can relax child free with chilled towels and Evian misters around the garden oasis style pool. Guests can even schedule pool side massages and enjoy grown up snow cones like Simple Cherry, crafted with Skyy cherry vodka, cherry syrup and house made salted caramel sauce.

Every summer WET REPUBLIC makes a big splash on the pool scene with the first ultra-pool at MGM Grand. It’s expanded in the past two years to the “it” dayclub for the ultimate day life vibe produced by world renowned DJ’s like Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki and Tiesto. This pool season they will unveil six new VIP Bungalows along with three private plunge pools for the “unrivaled daytime VIP experience.” MGM Grand will serve the special Don Julio’s Sunshine at the pool where they have combined Don Julio tequila with Cointreau liqueur, Midori melon liqueur, fresh sour mix, pineapple juice and a splash of grenadine for a sweet combination sure to refresh all sun-worshippers.

Beachside Casino at Mandalay Bay Beach just steps away from the crashing waves and 2,700 ton real California sand of Vegas’ only beach, lies a climate controlled, glass fronted casino for guests who want take their bets outside. The casino features blackjack, roulette and craps with amazing views of the blue water that laces the beach. Guests may also enjoy live music from artists like Ziggy Marley, Gavin DeGraw, One Republic and many more during the Beach’s Summer Concert Series.

For that European-style pool experience where tops are options, BARE Pool Lounge at the Mirage offer total seclusion for guests ready to BARE almost all. You can reserve one of the six VIP cabanas, eight daybeds or two of the luxury VIP dipping pools or enjoy BARE Brunch on Sundays with food and drinks around the pool with a remarkable tropical setting that’s ideal for a beautiful unconventional retreat. ARIA Resort & Casino just launched Babaletta, a Saison Golden Ale that will appeal to all senses of craft aficionados as well as the casual beer drinker.
