Pontiac memorial: Knight Rider jumps

Knight Rider is the ultimate collection of Trans AM video fun! Turbo boosts, or jumps were one of the most popular features of  Knight Industries Two Thousand. KITT personified the great Pontiac legend into many sports car enthusiasts dream car list. For a private example study, I did a little popularity experiment about the Pontiac Trans AM KITT. I asked ten random friends on Streetfire.net the following question, "If someone was to give you an exact replica of Knight Rider's KITT, would you enjoy owning it?" All ten agreed and expressed various statements of passion for the vehicle.

The following collection of KITT's awesome turbo boost feature is ten minutes packed full of great Knight Rider scenes. An amazing collaboration video, it illustrates the extensive use and destruction of great Pontiac vehicles. Those vehicles sacrificed in the making of Knight Rider are going down in the history books as some of the best vehicles ever! Totally worth the destruction, we've been given a great video record of Pontiac. Pontiac will be missed!

Summary

Pontiac had a great impact in the 1970-1990's culture of automotive America. Many enthusiasts from these time periods have extensive passion for Pontiac. I personally learned how to drive in a 1990 Pontiac Firebird Formula at the age of thirteen on a farm road. Firebird's have the clearance needed to traverse most surfaces, and indeed are quite versatile vehicles with proper driving techniques.

Pontiac vehicles were special to many people compared to the other makes and models because the vehicle represented an exciting era of automobile manufacturing. Back then, the possibilities of technology were just coming to realm of practicality in form of unique instrumentation, performance, and overall design. Pontiac left a great impression on the automotive culture and will be missed through out the world.

Rest in peace old friend, we had some good times.

Many of the cars jumped in Knight Rider were not Pontiacs at all, but were dune buggies with fiberglass Pontiac-like frames! Still, a graceful shape... no car can do better.
