Pompano Beach's best kept secret of awesome dog freindly Harbor's Edge Park

Harbor's Edge, yes indeed there is a harbor edge that is beach like where you can enjoy sitting on your lounge chair or park bench and best of all, it's dog friendly so Fido can play in the water like he's at the beach. How cool is that? With so many regulations where you can't bring your dog to the beach unless it's at certain times in designated places plus access fees, it either leaves you no option or, it is just not fun with an overload of dogs running around and peeing on your bag thinking it's a fire hydrant. Coming to this park is an awesome alternative to getting around it, a place where he can feel like he's at the beach and enjoy himself.

There is a fitness walking path and a wide open field with trees and benches along the way, a playground for kids, and a nice little parking lot. It's designated at the end of a road hidden away like a jewel. The only draw back is no restrooms, though there is a water fountain. The park is 8.5 acres. Located at 1240 NE 28 Avenue in Pompano Beach, FL.
