Was the #13 spot on Teen Vogue's Top 20 Best Dressed Celebrities of 2009 a fair recognition to give The Twilight Saga: New Moon's Kristen Stewart?
Kristen Stewart has been on the top of many lists this year, winning plenty of awards for both her and the mega popular movies where she plays Bella Swan, The Twilight Saga.
Now, Kristen Stewart has been awarded slot number 13 on Teen Vogue's Top 20 Best Dressed Celebrities of 2009 list.
The question is: why?
It cannot be denied that The Twilight Saga has very many ultra loyal fans who believe Kristen Stewart deserves anything and everything (including an Oscar, some say).
Also, the promotional tour for New Moon took Kristen Stewart around the world and gave her lots of red carpet opportunities to showcase her fashion sense.
But, how many of those fashion choices came from Kristen Stewart herself? Were those outfits not the work of a stylist?
Presenting Kristen Stewart on the list, Teen Vogue writes, "This leading lady never skipped a fashion beat, during her rigorous New Moon world press tour she juxtaposed her tough as nails persona with flowy chiffon dresses and towering heels and at the MTV movie awards she boldly dressed down her Yigal Azrouël cocktail dress with Chuck Taylors."
That bold Chuck Taylors look, however, did not come from a fashionable place in Kristen Stewart's world. As she said in an exclusive interview with the Twilight Examiner, "(...) I was wearing Chucks because I couldn’t walk because I had sprained my ankle running in Italy. The only reason I wore flats was because of that and people like freaked out."
All things considered, then, did she, or did she not deserve to be on that Top 20?

I think this whole poll thing is ridiculous. Does it matter if you or anyone else think she is worthy? Teen Vogue magazine, Teen Vogue's choice. To them she obviously deserves to be on that list. What we think or say is mute at this point considering it's already in print. And who are you to question it? Kristen has always had great taste in the styles she has chosen to wear. Not just now because her light is brighter then it has ever been. But even before all this Twilight craziness. Been a fan of her's way before any of that and alway's have been a fan of her unique sense of style. Whether it be on the red carpet, or her dressing in her normal everyday life. She is someone who should be on that list. So let her have her moment and congradulate her instead of being an a** and questioning it. Find something more worthy to write about and quit wasting her fans time in reading this crap.
Was the title not the 20 best dressed celebrities. Most or all of the celebrities on that list would have been dressed by a stylist, no?
