Glee is certainly the little train that could in this year's television comedy; however, can it beat Tina Fey's reigning 30 Rock?
Surprising many, especially the cast and crew, Fox's Glee became the TV show with the most nominations for the 2010 Gloden Globe Awards.
NBC's 30 Rock, which has been winnning pretty much every Best Comedy Awards it has been nominated for since its first season -including the Golden Globes, received three nominations.
Glee was nominated for Best TV Comedy or Musical Series. Actress Lea Michele received a Best Actress in a TV Comedy nod, and Matthew Morrison was honered with one for Best Actor in a TV Comedy. Finally, the hilarious Jane Lynch was nominated for the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
30 Rock was (of course) also nominated for Best TV Comedy or Musical Series. Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin were nominated for Best Actress and Actor in a TV Comedy, respectively.
The Glee club sings "Lean On Me".
Does Glee have enough musical star power to beat 30 Rock this year?
What do you think?
