Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Tuesday October 8, 2013. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report. Links to arrests prior to 2009 will not be included.
Austin Lowel Banks, 18, of Aragon was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance. Banks was released on 10/9 after posting to property bonds totaling $2,850.
Jesse Gyle Brown, 19, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with theft by taking. Brown remains in custody at the time of this publication. A $1,100 property bond has been set.
Teresa Ann Cooper, 44, of Blairsville was arrested and charged with two counts theft by receiving stolen property, two counts second degree forgery and parole violation. Cooper remains in custody at the time of this publication.
Terri Dale Edwards, 53, of Carrollton was arrested and charged with DUI, failure to maintain lane and failure to register as new Georgia resident within 30 days. Edwards was released the same day after posting three property bonds totaling $1,760.
Brandy Shantea O'Hara, 35, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with simple battery. O'Hara was released the same day on a $500 OT bond.
Magllon America Oseguera, 27, of Cartersville was arrested and charged with driving without a license. Oseguera was released the same day after posting a $1,000 cash bond.
Otis Clark Turner, 62, of Rome was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in Cedartown municipal court. Turner remains in custody at the time of this publication. A $600 cash bond has been set. See also (4/6/2013)
John Ross Woodall, 31, of Aragon was arrested and charged with fourth offense of driving on a suspended license. Woodall remains in custody at the time of this publication. A $6,500 property bond has been set. See also (8/3/2013) (12/28/2011)
