Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Monday October 7, 2013. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report. Links to arrests prior to 2009 will not be included.
Kerstie Irene Carter, 20, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with simple battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA). Carter was released on 10/8 after posting a $1,100 property bond. See also (8/9/2012)
Michelle Crider, 18, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with shoplifting. Crider was released the same day after posting an $800 property bond.
David Jason Howard, 33, of Buchanan was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and speeding. Howard was released the same day after posting two property bonds totaling $1,890.
Bryant Lamar Jordan, 33, of Atlanta was arrested and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, possession during the commission of crime and improperly transferred tag. Jordan was released on 10/8 after posting three property bonds totaling $1,600.
Charles Anthony Lawson, 28, of DeKalb was arrested and charged with possession of firearms by a convicted felon. Lawson was released on 10/8 after posting a $1,100 property bond.
Angelo Romontaz Mathis, 38, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine. Mathis was released on 10/8 after posting a $1,100 property bond. Cedric Miquez Diamond Smith, 19, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Smith was released on 10/8 after posting a $1,100 property bond.
Donald Todd Taylor, 44, of Aragon was arrested and charged with DUI and improper backing. Taylor remains in custody at the time of this publication. Two property bonds totaling $2,610 have been set. See also (4/8/2010)
