Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Thursday May 8, 2014. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

The arrest reports within this list do not reflect the actual guilt or innocence of the individual or individuals listed. All parties are presumed innocent until they are proven guilty in a court of law. Not every arrest or charge leads to a conviction. A conviction or an acquittal will be determined by the court system.

The following individuals were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report. Links to arrests prior to 2009 will not be included.

Eddie Dean Bethune, 37, of Rockmart was arrested on a warrant for probation violation. Bethune remains in custody with bond denied at the time of this publication.

Ashley Neil Carroll, 29, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with aggravated stalking under the Family Violence Act (FVA). Carroll remains in custody with bond denied at the time of this publication.

James Copeland, 28, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with theft by conversion. Copeland was released on 5/10 after posting a $1,100 property bond.

Raven Simone Dave, 22, of Cedartown was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in probate court. Dave was released on 5/9 after paying a $165 cash fine.

Henry Dejuan Ferrell, 32, of Cedartown is currently housed at the Polk County jail for court.

Jason Lee Gable, 37, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with driving with expired license and suspended license. Gable was released on 5/9 after posting two property bonds totaling $1,545.

Michael James Hawthorne, 25, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with not caring for animals. Hawthorne was released on 5/9 after posting a $411 cash bond.

Amy Rakestraw Helms, 19, of Rockmart was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear. Helms was released the same day after paying a $125 cash fine.

Anthony Jamel Hunt Jr., 27, of Cedartown was arrested on an out of county warrant.

David Ronnie Jay, 44, of Aragon was arrested on a felony warrant for probation violation. Jay remains in custody with bond denied at the time of this publication.

Michael Eugene Moore, 55, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. Moore was released on 5/13 after posting a $5,100 property bond.

Cornelius Dejuan Neal, 27, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license and failure to stop at stop sign. Neal was released on 5/13 after posting a $1,760 property bond.

Donald Eugene Nichols, 32, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with theft by taking. Nichols remains in custody with bond denied at the time of this publication.

Joshua Matthew Perry, 25, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with rape. Perry remains in custody with no bond set at the time of this publication.

Crystal Jill Rios, 36, of Cedartown was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear in probate court. Rios was released on 5/13 after paying a $125 cash fine.

Bobby Lee Rowell, 32, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with criminal trespass under the Family Violence Act (FVA). Rowell was released the same day after posting a $600 property bond.

William Jeffery Swift, 51, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with theft by receiving stolen property. Swift was released on 5/14 after posting a $5,100 property bond.

Anthony Curtis Waldron, 47, of Rockmart was arrested on a warrant for contempt of court regarding child support. Waldron remains in custody with no bond set at the time of this publication.

Brent D Washington, 30, of Aragon was arrested on warrants for two counts child support.

Willie George Whatley, 51, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with two counts possession of controlled substance, sale of controlled substance and parole violation. Whatley remains in custody with bond denied at the time of this publication.

Brandi Nicole Wigley, 29, of Aragon was arrested and charged with battery and probation violation. Wigley remains in custody with bond denied at the time of this publication.
