Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Monday May 5, 2014. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

Monica Lashay Alford, 44, of Cedartown was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. Alford remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (1/14/2014) (10/11/2013) (4/7/2013) (1/10/2013)

Steven Louis Bartl, 34, of Hiram is currently housed at the Polk County jail for court. See also (7/5/2011)

Arthur Junior Brown, 52, of Cedartown was arrested on a warrant for probation violation. Brown remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (2/7/2013) (12/16/2011) (10/8/2010) (8/9/2010)

Jeffery Shade Couch, 24, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with simple battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA). Couch was released on 5/6 after posting a $2,500 property bond. See also (11/13/2011)

Kendra M Fleetwood, 27, of Rome was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license, suspended tag and seat belt violation. Fleetwood remains in custody at the time of this publication. Property bonds totaling $2,240 have been set.

William Lonnie Kitchens, 30, of Rome was arrested and charged with driving while license withdrawn and speeding. Kitchens was released the same day after posting property bonds totaling $1,840.

Richard Mabry, 55, of Cedartown was arrested for violating the terms of work release program. Mabry remains in custody at the time of this publication.

Ray Anthony Overton, 29, of Rockmart was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in superior court. Overton remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (6/1/2011) (8/29/2009)

Steve Roger Rogers, 59, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with DUI and failure to maintain lane. Rogers was released the same day after posting property bonds totaling $3,180.

Perry Melvin Strickland, 59, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with theft by shoplifting and possession of marijuana. Strickland remains in custody at the time of this publication. Dustin McClain Ward, 29, of Aragon, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation. Ward remains in custody at the time of this publication. Ladon Shericko Ware, 29, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with three counts battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA). Ware remains in custody at the time of this publication.
