Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Monday May 26, 2014. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

The arrest reports within this list do not reflect the actual guilt or innocence of the individual or individuals listed. All parties are presumed innocent until they are proven guilty in a court of law. Not every arrest or charge leads to a conviction. A conviction or an acquittal will be determined by the court system.

The following individuals were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report. Links to arrests prior to 2009 will not be included.

Jimmy Shane Keane, 30, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. Keane was released on 5/27 after posting a $440 OT bond. See also (2/17/2012)

Jamie Dewayne Malone, 38, of Buchanan was arrested and charged with theft by taking, attempting to elude, driving on divided highways and failure to yield to emergency vehicles. Malone remains in custody at the time of this publication. Property bonds totaling $8,100 have been set. See also (10/28/2013)

Nazario Salvador Mejia, 25, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with driving while unlicensed, failure to obey stop sign, resisting arrest and driving too fast for conditions. Mejia remains in custody at the time of this publication. Property bonds totaling $2,660 have been set.

Daquad Keontrae Morris, 17, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with driving without a license and obstruction. Morris was released on 5/27 after posting property bonds totaling $2,100. See also (4/7/2013)

Billy Joe Pearson, 39, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended. Pearson was released the same day after posting a $1,610 property bond. See also (4/2/2012)

Adrian Rangel, 30, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and a safety belt violation. Rangel was released on 5/28 after posting property bonds totaling $1,430. See also (4/28/2014)

Gregory Sanders, 20, of Cedartown was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in Cedartown municipal court. Sanders remains in custody at the time of this publication. A $604 cash bond has been set. See also (3/5/2014)

Lisa Shae Swift, 36, of Rockmart was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant for deposit account fraud. Swift was released the same day after paying $393.84 cash. See also (12/12/2013)

John Clark Thompson, 61, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with theft by shoplifting and a warrant for failure to appear in municipal court on charges of affray. Thompson remains in custody at the time of this publication.
