Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Friday May 23, 2014. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

The arrest reports within this list do not reflect the actual guilt or innocence of the individual or individuals listed. All parties are presumed innocent until they are proven guilty in a court of law. Not every arrest or charge leads to a conviction. A conviction or an acquittal will be determined by the court system.

The following individuals were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report. Links to arrests prior to 2009 will not be included.

Eric Alonso, 24, of Cedartown was sentenced.

Daniel Anderson, 26, of Acworth was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in probate court.

Martha Brannon, 54, of Aragon was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in probate court. Brannon remains in custody at the time of this publication. A $245 cash bond has been set.

John Cason, 44, of Aragon was arrested on a felony warrant for probation violation. Cason remains in custody at the time of this publication.

Rolando Hernandez, 28, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with driving while unlicensed. Hernandez was released the same day after posting a $1,410 property bond.

Shawna Pennington, 47, of Cedartown is currently housed at the Polk County jail for court.

Javier Rivas, 43, of Chamblee was arrested and charged with habitual violator and no brake light. Rivas remains in custody at the time of this publication. Property bonds totaling $3,750 have been set.

Donald Vessell, 39, of Rockmart was arrested on a probation hold. Vessell remains in custody at the time of this publication.

Troy Vines, 34, of Elka was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in superior and probation violation. Vines remains in custody at the time of this publication.

Ashley Wilson, 30, of Rome was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding. Wilson was released the same day after posting property bonds totaling $3,690.
