Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Tuesday March 5, 2013. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report.

Brandon Eugene Akins, 24, of Rockmart was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Logan and charged with aggravated assault under the Family Violence Act (FVA), battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA) and third degree cruelty to children under the Family Violence Act (FVA). Akins remains in custody with no bond set at the time of this publication.

Gaston Derrell Diamond, 26, of Cedartown was arrested on a warrant for felony parole violation. See also (7/17/2012) (7/26/2011) (11/21/2010) (9/8/2009)

Jennifer Michelle Ford, 30, of Rockmart was arrested by Rockmart Police Officer Westbrooks and charged with driving on a suspended license and hit and run. Ford was released on 3/7 after posting two property bonds totaling $6,100. See also (2/19/2013) (5/10/2011) (12/5/2010) (12/22/2009)

Richard Wayne Heffner, 21, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer Wallace and charged with theft by taking. Heffner was released on 3/7 after posting a $2,600 property bond. Ronald Eugene Kelley, 49, of Aragon was arrested on a felony warrant for parole violation. See also (2/7/2013) (4/5/2011) (3/3/2010)

Victor Arevalo Kietzman, 30, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer Nolan and charged with theft by shoplifting. Kietzman was released the same day after bonding out through the Cedartown Police Department.

Carlton L. Page, 53, of Cedartown was arrested on a felony warrant for parole violation. See also (voluntary manslaughter and cruelty to children parolee)

Satishumar R. Patel, 35, of Cumberland Furnace Tn., is currently being housed at the Polk County jail for U.S. Marshals on original charges of distribution of items to manufacture methamphetamine.

Efrin DeLeon Ramirez, 30, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer Wilkes and charged with DUI, driving without a license, two counts disorderly conduct and open container. Ramirez was released the same day after bonding out through the Cedartown Police Department. See also (9/27/2011)

Marsha Ann Sartin, 38, of Silver Creek was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Rayburn and charged with driving under the influence of drugs and failure to maintain lane. Sartin remains in custody at the time of this publication. Two property bonds totaling 41,800 have been set.

Bruce Anthony Taylor, 42, of Rockmart was arrested by Polk County Sheriff's deputies on a warrant for failure to appear in probate court. See also (5/17/2012) (8/10/2011) (3/20/2011)

Thomas William Weldon, 51, of Rockmart was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Lynch and charged with battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA). Weldon was released on 3/6 after posting a $3,100 property bond.

Valerie Michelle Weldon, 17, of was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Lynch and charged with battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA). Weldon was released on 3/6 on a $600 OT bond.

All parties are presumed innocent until they are proven guilty in a court of law. Not every arrest or charge leads to a conviction. A conviction or an acquittal will be determined by the court system.
