Polk County Ga. arrest report dated March 19, 2013 (Photos)

The Northwest Georgia Crime Examiner personally compiles arrest reports that cover Polk and Haralson Counties.

Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Tuesday March 19, 2013. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report.
Links to arrests prior to 2009 will not be included.

Marcus Haynes, 39, of Rome was arrested by Polk County deputies on a warrant for failure to appear in municipal court and general bail jumping. Haynes remains in custody at the time of this publication.

Matthew Carlton Hestely, 33, of Cave Spring was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer Young and charged with DUI-less safe (third), failure to maintain lane, possession of a drug related object, driving with no license on person and striking a fixed object. Hestely remains in custody with no bond set at the time of this publication.

Jessica Louise Jones, 27, of Rockmart was in custody at the Floyd County jail on a hold for Polk County. See also (8/29/2012) (6/14/2012) (12/28/2010) (3/12/2010) (1/20/2010)

Tony Curtis Langston, 50, of Cave Springs was arrested by Floyd County deputies and is currently being housed at the Polk County jail for Floyd County deputies.

German Sontay Lopez, 30, of Cedartown was arrested by Aragon Police Officer Anderson and charged with driving while unlicensed and child restraint violation. Lopez was released the same day after bonding out through the Aragon Police Department.

Victor Manuel Perez-Jaquez, 28, of Dalton was arrested by U.S. Marshalls and is currently being housed at the Polk County jail. According to the Dalton Daily Citizen Perez-Jaquez was charged on Friday 2/1/2013 by the Dalton Police Department with unlawful for inmate to possess controlled substance, possession and use of drug-related objects, giving a false name/address or date of birth to a law officer and pedestrian under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Perez-Jacquez remains in custody at the time of this publication.

Irma Lee Shonkwiler, 72, of Rockmart was arrested by Rockmart Police Officer Smith and charged with driving under the influence of drugs (less safe). Shonkwiler was released the same day after bonding out through the Rockmart Police Department.

April Sims, 27, of Rockmart was arrested by Polk County deputies and charged with five counts deposit account fraud. Sims remains in custody at the time of this publication. Check amounts totaling $2272.08 must be paid in cash for release.

Robert Charles Stephens, 33, of Cedartown was arrested by Polk County deputies and charged with two counts theft by receiving stolen property, first degree burglary, theft by taking and obstructing law enforcement. Stephens remains in custody with bond denied at the time of this publication.

William Earl Trisler, 74, of Rockmart was arrested by Rockmart Police Officer Parker and charged with driving while license suspended and carrying drugs across the guard line. Trisler was released on a $1,100 ROR bond per Judge Pamela Whiteside.

The arrest reports within this list do not reflect the actual guilt or innocence of the individual or individuals listed. All parties are presumed innocent until they are proven guilty in a court of law. Not every arrest or charge leads to a conviction. A conviction or an acquittal will be determined by the court system.
