Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Saturday March 1, 2014. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

The following individuals were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report. Links to arrests prior to 2009 will not be included.

Laura Kathleen Corn, 36, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with DUI and failure to yield while making a left turn. Corn was released the same day after posting two property bonds totaling $2,610.

Deundra Martez Cummings, 21, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. Cummings was released the same day after posting a $5,100 property bond. Dewayne Alfred Haselrig, 47, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with simple battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA), third degree cruelty to children and obstructing someone from making an emergency phone call. Haselrig was released on 3/3 after posting three property bonds totaling $5,100.

Robert Christopher Johnson, 52, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with theft by receiving stolen property. Johnson remains in custody at the time of this publication. A $3,100 property bond has been set.

Wesley Wayne Shanks, 28, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, failure to maintain lane, failure to obey stop sign and a warrant for failure to appear in Cedartown municipal court. Shanks was released on 3/2 after posting four property bonds totaling $2,200. See also (6/12/2013) (6/3/2013) (3/13/2013)

Allen Lee Williams, 30, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with driving in violation of DUI permit and a seat belt violation. Williams was released the same day after posting two property bonds totaling $320. See also (2/27/2010)

All parties are presumed innocent until they are proven guilty in a court of law. Not every arrest or charge leads to a conviction. A conviction or an acquittal will be determined by the court system.
