Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Thursday January 9, 2014. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report. Links to arrests prior to 2009 will not be included.

Tammy Michelle Adams, 28, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with conspiracy to sell methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Adams was released on 1/10 after posting two property bonds totaling $7,100.

Steve E Bright, 46, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with theft by conversion of payments for property improvements, theft by deception, false statements and writings, use of fraudulent identification documents and exploitation of an elderly person. Bright remains in custody at the time of this publication. Five property bonds totaling $10,100 have been set.

Lindsey Kay Ferguson, 31, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with driving while unlicensed and expired tag. Ferguson was released the same day after posting two property bonds totaling $2,680.

Patricia Ann Franks, 43, of Rockmart was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in superior court. The bond was reinstated and Franks was released on 1/10 per Judge Sutton. See also (8/15/2011)

Zachary Seth Jay, 21, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with DUI and failure to stop for a stop sign. Jay remains in custody at the time of this publication. Two property bonds totaling $3,180 have been set. See also (1/30/2012) (9/9/2011) (8/23/2009)

Michael Cruz Kelley, 24, of Rome was arrested and charged with theft by shoplifting. Kelley was released on 1/11 after posting a $1,100 property bond.

Mack Edward Locklear, 71, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with aggravated assault under the Family Violence Act (FVA). Locklear was released the same day after posting a $5,100 property bond.

Glenda Joyce Martin, 56, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with DUI, failure to maintain lane and open container in vehicle. Martin was released the same day after posting three property bonds totaling $3,130

Jeffery Scott Perry, 25, of Cartersville is currently housed at the Polk County jail for court. See also (12/4/2012)

Christopher Dennis Vines, 27, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, failure to use turn signal and a warrant for failure to appear in superior court. Barry Wilson Weaver, 57, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with conversion of payments for real property improvements, exploitation of elderly person, theft by deception, false statements and writings and use of fraudulent identification documents. Weaver remains in custody with bond denied at the time of this publication. See also (1/2/2014)
