Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Sunday January 5, 2014. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report. Links to arrests prior to 2009 will not be included.

Joshua Nicholas Clonts, 31, of Rome was arrested and charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana, theft by shoplifting, possession of a weapon while trying to commit crimes and possession of drug related objects. Clonts was released on 1/9 after posting five property bonds totaling $13,100.

Zina Marie Hale, 42, of Marietta was arrested and charged with DUI and driving on the wrong side of roadway. Hale was released on the same day after posting two property bonds totaling $1,762.

Terry Little, 48, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with theft by taking. Little was released on 1/7 after posting a $2,100 property bond.

Tammy Penson, 43, of Rome was arrested on a felony warrant for failure to appear in superior court. Penson was released on 1/11 after posting a $7,600 property bond.

Abraham Nolasco Ramirez, 31, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with no license and window tint violation. Ramirez was released on 1/7 after posting two property bonds totaling $1,560. See also (6/8/2013)

Nancy Jane Redden, 51, of Rome was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license. Redden was released the same day after posting a $1,610 property bond.

Johnny Frank Taylor, 30, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license, passing in a no passing zone and speeding. Taylor was released on 1/7 after posting three property bonds totaling $1,940. See also (12/19/2010)

Brian Keith Westmoreland, 46, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license, suspended tag, no insurance and giving false name and date of birth.

The arrest reports within this list do not reflect the actual guilt or innocence of the individual or individuals listed. All parties are presumed innocent until they are proven guilty in a court of law. Not every arrest or charge leads to a conviction. A conviction or an acquittal will be determined by the court system.
