Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Friday January 31, 2014. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

The following individuals were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report. Links to arrests prior to 2009 will not be included.

Joseph Jason Carrion, 31, of Rockmart was arrested due to a bond drop by Polk Quick Bail for original charges of driving on a suspended license and speeding. Carrion remains in custody at the time of this publication. A $1.840 property bond has been set. See also (12/23/2013) (10/15/2013)

Yvonne M Ghea, 34, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with two counts theft by deception and two counts theft by shoplifting. Ghea remains in custody at the time of this publication. Four property bonds totaling $10,300 have been set.

Timothy Bernard Johnson, 43, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with second degree cruelty to children and simple battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA). Johnson remains in custody at the time of this publication. Two property bonds totaling $4,100 have been set. See also (5/28/2012)

Michael Levone McCrary, 53, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with driving while on a suspended license, expired tag and no insurance on vehicle. McCrary was released on 2/3 after posting three property bonds totaling $3930 have been set. See also (4/2/2013)

Rosendo M Ortiz Jr., 70, of Auburn, KY was arrested and charged with serious injury by vehicle, failure to obey traffic control device and failure to maintain lane. Ortiz remains in custody with bond denied at the time of this publication.

Eric Joseph Rayburn, 40, of Aragon was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and reckless conduct. Rayburn remains in custody at the time of this publication. Two cash bonds totaling $411 have been set. See also (8/28/2013)

Bryan P Schmidt, 35, of Cartersville was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in magistrate court. Schmidt remains in custody at the time of this publication. A 41,024 cash bond has been set.

Robert Tyler Schuver, 21, of Rome was arrested and charged with reckless driving, fleeing/attempting to elude and driving on wrong side of roadway. Schuver was released the same day after posting three property bonds totaling $2,130.

Victor Shane Williams, 28, of Rockmart was sentenced. See also (12/3/2013) (8/8/2013) (6/5/2010)
