Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Tuesday January 21, 2014. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

The following individuals were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report. Links to arrests prior to 2009 will not be included.

Kwame Ali Askia, 58, of Douglasville is currently housed at the Polk County jail for U.S. Marshals.

William R Collier Jr., 51, of Cedartown was arrested on a warrant for contempt of court. See also (11/15/2013) (3/17/2012) (10/1/2011)

Crystal Lynn Cothran, 30, of Trion was arrested on a warrant for felony probation violation. Cothran remains in custody at the time of this publication.

Judy Lynn Gable, 50, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with DUI, tire requirements and a warrant for failure to appear in municipal court. Gable was released on 1/22 after posting two property bonds totaling $2,610 and a $290 cash fine. See also (6/18/2010) (2/23/2010)

Jacqueline E Harris, 42, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with DUI and driving on an expired license. Harris was released the same day after posting two property bonds totaling $4,000.

Brandon James Johnson, 28, of Cedartown was arrested on a felony warrant for probation violation. Johnson remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (1/11/2014) (8/7/2009)

Mastrianni Shakaria Marshall, 30, of Goldsboro N.C., was arrested and charged with public drunkenness and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Marshall remains in custody at the time of this publication.

Amelia Ruth Preston, 31, of Anniston, AL was arrested and charged with DUI, two counts possession of a schedule II drug, possession of a schedule IV drug, drugs not in original container, driving on an expired license and failure to maintain lane. Preston was released on 1/22 after posting seven property bonds totaling $12,200. See also (12/20/2013)

Jeremiah Purser, 42, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with pedestrian under the influence of alcohol. Purser remains in custody at the time of this publication. A $360 property bond has been set. See also (6/11/2010) (3/15/2010) (1/2/2010)

Michael Kyle Thomas, 22, of Rome was arrested and charged with theft by taking. Thomas was released after posting a $600 property bond.

Maggie Marie Wheeler Thompson, 26, of Cedartown was arrested on a felony warrant for probation violation and a misdemeanor warrant for probation violation. See also (3/2/2013) (8/29/2012) (8/25/2011) (3/31/2011) (3/8/2011)
