Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Thursday January 16, 2014. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report. Links to arrests prior to 2009 will not be included.
Marvin Nelson Brown, 43, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and no seat belt. Brown was released the same day after posting two property bonds totaling $1,640.
Tina Louise Dutton, 51, of Powder Springs was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in Cedartown municipal court. Dutton remains in custody at the time of this publication. A $290 cash bond has been set. See also (7/7/2011) (6/12/2010)
Amanda Everlyn Leighton, 33, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with felony theft by taking. Leighton was released the same day after posting a $3,100 property bond. See also (8/3/2012)
Floyd Wayne Olinger, 35, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with possession of meth and possession of drug related objects. Olinger remains in custody at the time of this publication. Two property bonds totaling $7,100 have been set.

Michael Gavin Wester, 33, of Cedartown was arrested in Rome and charged with first degree cruelty to children, possession of marijuana and possession and use of drug related objects.
Steven Wayne Whitley, 29, of Rockmart was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in Cedartown municipal court. Whitley was released on 1/17 after paying a $243 cash fine. See also (8/19/2012)
Nikita Nicole Williams, 23, of Silver Creek was arrested and charged with driving on suspended license and suspended registration. Williams was released the same day after posting two property bonds totaling $4,400.
