Listed below is the report for Monday Jan. 7, 2013. The report includes a complete list of arrests, prior arrests, bonding information and inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the links to view prior arrests and/or additional details.

Marcus Letie Barnes, 34, of Cedartown was arrested by Polk County Deputies on a warrant for felony probation violation and released the same day. See also (12/26/2011) (10/31/2011)

Gregory Lee Causey, 32, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown Police Officers Short and McClendon and charged with shoplifting. Causey was released the same day after bonding out through the Cedartown Police Department. See also (12/23/2012) (7/11/2012) (7/22/2012) (3/7/2012)

Joshua Glenn Gonzales, 21, of Aragon was arrested by Polk County Deputies on a warrant for felony probation violation. Gonzales remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (8/21/2012) (7/29/2012) (2/18/2012) (11/14/2011) (6/23/2010) (8/16/2009) (8/3/2009)

Mysty Michelle Hogan, 36, of Cedartown was sentenced and remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (9/19/2011)

Jessica Inez Holcomb, 29, of Rockmart was sentenced and remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (12/12/2009)

Christopher Chad Overstreet, 36, of Rockmart was arrested by Rockmart Police Officer Hunter and charged with burglary, theft of services and second degree criminal damage to property. Christian Jesus Pineda, 18, of Cedartown was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Anderson and charged with failure to yield, failure to dim headlights and violation of driver’s license restrictions. Pineda was released the same day after paying three cash bonds totaling $225.

Albert Edward Sorrells, 46, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer Young and charged with simple battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA). Sorrells remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (12/22/2012) (11/22/2012) (11/3/2012) (10/26/2012)

John Wesley Thompson Jr., 30, of Rockmart was arrested by Polk County Deputies on a warrant for failure to appear in probate court. Thompson was released the same day after paying a $15 cash fine.

Jamie Michelle Tudor, 33, of Cedartown was sentenced. Tudor was released after paying a fine and the warrant was recalled through Intertech. See also (2/4/2011) (Russell Street drug raid)

Thomas Anthony Vanzant, 51, of Rockmart was arrested by Polk County Deputies on a warrant for contempt of court regarding child support. Vanzant remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (11/8/2012) (7/18/2011) (11/9/2010) (6/7/2010) (1/29/2010) (8/29/2009)

Henry William White Jr., 36, of Lindale was arrested by Polk County Deputy on a warrant for failure to appear in magistrate court. White was released the same day after paying a $205.50 cash fine.

Arrest reports do not reflect the guilt or innocence of the individuals listed. All parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Not every arrest/charge leads to a conviction. A conviction or acquittal is determined by the court system.
