The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the links to view prior arrests and/or additional details.
Brian Christopher Barber, 34, of Cedartown was arrested by Polk County Sheriff's Deputies Turner and Evans on a warrant for misdemeanor probation violation. Barber remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (7/17/2010)
Jeffery Wayne Burge, 58, of Rockmart was arrested by Polk County Police Officers Wright and Lynch and charged with felony aggravated assault. Burge remains in custody at the time of this publication. A $10,100 property bond has been set. See also (8/14/2010) (8/12/2009)
Jeffery Paul Cochran, 47, of Cedartown was arrested by Polk County Sheriff's Deputy Turner on a warrant for felony probation violation. Cochran remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (3/22/2010) (1/13/2010)
Scotty Lamar Deems, 39, of Rockmart was arrested by Rockmart Police Officer Smith and charged with simple battery (FVA) and criminal trespass. Deems was released on 1/28 after posting two property bonds totaling $2,100.
Tony Lee Deems, 46, of Rockmart was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Wright and charged with pedestrian under the influence. Deems was released on 1/28 after posting bond. See also (8/31/2012) (10/25/2009)
Areliz Gonzalez, 31, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer Young and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Gonzalez was released on 1/29 after bonding out through the Cedartown Police Department.
Jermaine Deon Headen, 28, of Atlanta was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer Young and charged on a warrant for failure to appear in municipal court. Headen remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (4/9/2012)
James Lamar Kelley, 30, of Buchanan was arrested by Polk County Sheriff's Deputy Deaton on a warrant for felony probation violation. Kelley was released on 1/28. See also (1/13/2012) (7/31/2011) (11/28/2010) (1/4/2010)
Justin Blake Patterson, 18, of Piedmont, Ala., was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Lynch and charged with driving on a suspended license and failure to maintain lane. Patterson was released the same day after posting two property bonds totaling $1,760.
Ciera Nicole Shooks, 25, was arrested in Floyd County on an outstanding warrant issued by Polk County for felony probation violation. Shooks remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (5/3/2011)
Robert Witt Jr., 39, of Rockmart was arrested by Polk County deputies on a warrant for deposit account fraud. Witt was released the same day after paying $355.50 cash.
