Listed below is the report for Tuesday Jan. 22, 2013. The report includes a complete list of arrests, prior arrests, bonding information and inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the links to view prior arrests and/or additional details.
Emily Nicole Awtrey, 18, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown School Resource Officer Pilgrim and charged with misdemeanor theft by taking. Awtrey was released the same day on a $600 ROR bond per Judge Whiteside.
Ronald Colt Blackmon, 19, of Rockmart was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Logan and charged with under age consumption and public drunk. Blackmon remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (7/10/2012) (4/21/2010) (3/10/2011) (12/26/2010)
Jacob Wesley Blackwood, 38, of Rockmart was arrested by Parole Officer Evans on a warrant for felony parole violation. Blackwood remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (7/22/2012)
Kaley Louise Brown, 19, of Rockmart was arrested by Rockmart Police Officer Hunter and charged with theft by shoplifting. Brown was released on 1/23 after posting bond through the Rockmart Police Department. See also (12/5/2012) (9/13/2012) (7/4/2011)
Gloria Danielle Flowers, 17, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown Police School Resource Officer Pilgrim and charged with misdemeanor theft by taking. Flowers was released on 1/22 on a $600 ROR bond per Judge Whiteside.
Jeremy Shane Hester, 38, of Rockmart was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Lynch and charged with first degree cruelty to children, third degree cruelty to children and battery. All charges are under the Family Violence Act (FVA). Hester was released the same day after posting three property bonds totaling $5,100.
Stephen Ray Larkin, 28, of Buchanan was arrested on a hold for Braswell Police Department. See also (12/19/2009)
Angelo Romontaz Mathis, 37, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer Zuker and charged with felony obstruction of an officer. Mathis remains in custody at the time of this publication. Heather Mitchell, 27, of Cedartown was arrested by Polk County Police Officers Lynch and Dyer and charged with felony theft by taking. Mitchell remains in custody at the time of this publication. A $20,100 property bond has been set.
Michael Jason Moore, 32, of Ranburne, Ala., was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer Yarbrough and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, driving under the influence of marijuana and possession of a drug related object. Moore remains in custody at the time of this publication.
Deven Brady Peace, 18, of Cedartown was arrested by Polk County Police Officers Lynch and Dyer and charged with felony theft by taking. Peace remains in custody at the time of this publication. Michael Brandon Pinkard, 19, of Rockmart was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Williams and charged with possession of synthetic marijuana which is a schedule 1 controlled substance and probation violation. Sarah Naomi Potter, 17, of Aragon was arrested by Aragon Police Officer Hearne and charged with failure to appear in Aragon municipal court. Potter remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (12/29/2012)
Brewer Daniel Stegall, 20, of Cedartown was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Kitchens and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug related objects. Brewer remains in custody at the time of this publication. Two cash bonds totaling $1,133.50 have been set.
Roderick Dejuan Stocks, 34, of Cedartown was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Breeden and charged with theft by shoplifting and felony probation violation.
