Polk County Ga. arrest report dated Jan. 13, 2013 (Photos)

The Polk County Crime Examiner personally compiles arrest reports that cover the Polk County, Ga. area, including Cedartown, Rockmart and Aragon.

Listed below is the report for Sunday Jan. 13, 2013. The report includes a complete list of arrests, prior arrests, bonding information and inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the links to view prior arrests and/or additional details.

Efrain R. Chun, 32, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer Stroup and charged with driving while unlicensed, inoperable brake-light and child restraint violation. Efrain was released the same day after bonding out through the Cedartown Police Department.

Charles Kenneth Cook Jr., 29, of Cedartown was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Hearne and charged with DUI-drugs and failure to stop for stop sign. Cook remains in custody at the time of this publication. Two property bonds totaling $6,100 has been set. See also (8/27/2009)

Kenneth Lamar Head Jr., 25, of Rockmart was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer Young and charged with public intoxication. Head was released on 1/14 after bonding out through the Cedartown Police Department. See also (5/12/2012) (4/19/2012) (2/15/2012) (8/22/2011)

Autumn Nichole Lingerfelt, 25, of Rockmart was arrested by Rockmart Police Officer Parker and charged with theft by receiving motor vehicle and theft by bringing stolen property into the state. Lingerfelt remains in custody at the time of this publication. Two property bonds totaling $10,100 has been set.

Matthew Caleb McDowell, 29, of Rockmart was arrested by Rockmart Police Officer Roberson and charged with aggravated battery and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony. McDowell was released 1/14 after posting two property bonds totaling $6,100.

Adrian Leinair Moore, 21, of Rome was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Lynch and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Moore remains in custody at the time of this publication. A cash bond totaling $928 has been set.

Deltorius Devonte Thompson, 18, of Rome was arrested by Polk County Police Lynch and charged with under-age consumption of alcohol, driving while unlicensed, driving too fast for conditions and failure to maintain lane. Thompson was released on 1/14 after posting property bonds totaling $2,140.

Michael Ellis Woodard, 19, of was arrested by Polk County Deputies and charged with terroristic threats and acts under the Family Violence Act (FVA), simple battery (FVA) and third degree cruelty to children under the Family Violence Act (FVA). Woodard remains in custody with no bond set at the time of this publication.

Arrest reports do not reflect the guilt or innocence of the individuals listed. All parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Not every arrest/charge leads to a conviction. A conviction or acquittal is determined by the court system.
