Polk County Ga. arrest report dated Jan. 10, 2013 (Photos)

The Polk County Crime Examiner personally compiles arrest reports that cover the Polk County, Ga. area, including Cedartown, Rockmart and Aragon.

Listed below is the report for Thursday Jan. 10, 2013. The report includes a complete list of arrests, prior arrests, bonding information and inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the links to view prior arrests and/or additional details.

Monica Lashay Alford, 43, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer Zuker and charged with possession of cocaine, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, possession of drug related objects and open container. Alford was released the same day after posting four property bonds totaling $4,100.

Donna Jo Baker, 41, of Rockmart was arrested by Rockmart Police Officer Anthony and charged with shoplifting. Baker was released the same day after bonding out through the Rockmart Police Department. See also (12/5/2010)

Madison Ciera Bollen, 19, of Rockmart was arrested by Rockmart Police Officer Anthony and charged with shoplifting. Bollen was released the same day after bonding out through the Rockmart Police Department.

Douglas Colvin, 51, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown Police Officers Short and McClendon and charged with DUI and driving while license withdrawn. Colvin remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (6/4/2012) (1/27/2011) (7/21/2010)

Adam Carl Dabbs, 26, of Rockmart was sentenced to serve 9 days or pay $1,274 cash. Dabbs remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (12/20/2012) (3/27/2012) (11/1/2011)

Ashley L. Davenport, 30, of Rome was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer Nicholson on a warrant for failure to appear in municipal court.

Bobby Walter Douglas, 21, of Rockmart was arrested by Polk County Police Officer McBride and charged with simple battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA). Douglas was released on 1/11 after posting a $2,100 property bonds.

Alan Roderick Duke, 55, was arrested by Deputy U.S. Marshal Kitson on a warrant for failure to appear in probate court. Duke was released the same day after paying a $165 cash bond.

Norman Keith Eli Gentry, 22, of Aragon was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer Payton and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Gentry was released on 1/11 after posting a $1,100 property bond.

Travis Dewayne Proctor, 28, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer Sharp on a warrant for failure to appear in municipal court. See also (9/14/2012)

Robert James Shoemaker, 33, of Aragon was arrested by Polk County Deputy on a warrant for theft by conversion. Shoemaker was released on 1/11 after posting a 420,100 property bond.

Trevonte Lamar Smith, 22, of Atlanta was arrested by Polk County Deputies at 2:55 p.m. on a 48 hour hold. Smith was released on 1/11 at 1:52 p.m. See also (7/8/2010)

Johnny Lee Swan, 31, of Bremen was arrested by Polk County Deputy Swift on a warrant for failure to appear in probate court. Swan was released on 1/11 after paying $132 cash to Intertech.

Lori Nicole Vanpool, 29, of Rockmart is here for court. Vanpool remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (1/13/2012)
