Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Saturday February 1, 2014. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

The following individuals were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report. Links to arrests prior to 2009 will not be included.

Joann Marie Carroll, 55, of Rockmart was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in Cedartown municipal court. Carroll remains in custody at the time of this publication. A $718 cash bond has been set. See also (9/25/2011) (6/19/2011)

James Michael Davenport, 34, of Braswell was arrested on a warrant out of Paulding County.

Cortnie Larae Hampton, 25, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with felony possession of marijuana, possession of tools used for the distribution of crime and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute. Hampton remains in custody at the time of this publication. Three property bonds totaling $12,100 have been set.

Dustin William Nelson, 33, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with criminal trespass under the Family Violence Act (FVA) and terroristic threats and acts under the Family Violence Act (FVA). Nelson remains in custody at the time of this publication. Two property bonds totaling $7,100 have been set. See also (3/12/2013)

Jimmy Lee Pilgrim, 50, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. Pilgrim remains in custody at the time of this publication. A $300 property bond has been set. Benjamin Haden Pope, 26, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with felony possession of marijuana, possession of tools used for the distribution of crime and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute. Renita Blaine Reece, 29, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with driving without a license and a warrant for failure to appear in Cedartown municipal court. Reece was released on 2/2 after posting a $1,410 property bond and a $290 cash bond. See also (8/21/2012) (9/22/2011) (2/21/2011)

David Joseph Richards, 30, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with public drunk and disorderly conduct. Richards was released on 2/3 after posting two cash bonds totaling $285. See also (10/15/2013) (8/23/2013) (6/19/2013) (12/25/2012) (8/20/2012) (6/15/2012) (2/13/2011)

Amber Marissa Vaughn, 25, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with theft by shoplifting. Vaughn was released the same day after posting a $1,000 property bond.

Megan Paige Welchel, 22, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with allowing another to violate state law and a windshield violation. Welchel was released the same day after posting two property bonds totaling $1,140. See also (9/11/2011)

Brian Keith Williams, 24, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license, no seat belt and wrong tag on vehicle. Williams was released the same day after posting three property bonds totaling $1,790. See also (9/2/2013) (9/21/2011)
