Listed below is the report for Saturday Feb. 2, 2013. The report includes a complete list of arrests, prior arrests, bonding information and inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the links to view prior arrests and/or additional details.
Warren Quency Brown, 39, of Cedartown was arrested by Polk County Sheriff's Deputy Wilkes and charged with public drunk, obstruction of an officer, public drunk and probation violation. Brown remains in custody at the time of this publication. Three property bonds totaling $5,100 have been set. A cash amount of $1,280 must also be paid to Intertech.
Michelle Andrea Drummond, 33, of Rockmart was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Borders and charged with theft by taking. Drummond remains in custody at the time of this publication. A 41,100 property bond has been set. See also (12/5/2012)
Audrey Johnson, 37, of Carrollton was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Borders and charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance, giving false information to a police officer and two counts of probation violation. Johnson remains in custody at the time of this publication. Three property bonds totaling $3,100 have been set pending probation release. James Cecil Rush, 51, of Powder Springs was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Anderson and charged with racing, speeding and reckless driving. Rush remains in custody at the time of this publication. Three property bonds totaling $1,810 have been set.
Donald Ray Taylor Jr., of Aragon was arrested by Rockmart Police Officer Speck and charged with second degree burglary, possession of tools for commission of crime, two counts theft by receiving and giving false name and date of birth. Jessica Elaine Welchel, 35, of was sentenced. See also (9/12/2011) (8/4/2011)
Kristy Lynn Willis, 30, of was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer Zuker and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance with 1000 feet of public housing, possession of marijuana and possession and use of drug related objects.
Shannon Derek Witt, 34, of was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer O'Neal and charged with driving on a suspended license.
Randall Floyd Yarbrough, 42, of was arrested by Rockmart Police Officer Walters and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to maintain lane.
Arrest reports do not reflect the guilt or innocence of the individuals listed. All parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Not every arrest/charge leads to a conviction. A conviction or acquittal is determined by the court system.
