Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Sunday Feb. 17, 2013. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report.

All parties are presumed innocent until they are proven guilty in a court of law. Not every arrest or charge leads to a conviction. A conviction or an acquittal will be determined by the court system.
Roger Dale Carter, 65, of Silver Creek was arrested by Rockmart Police Officer Jarrell and charged with driving under the influence of drugs (less safe) and failure to maintain lane. Carter was released on 2/19 after bonding out through the Rockmart Police Department.
Mary Ann Davis, 34, of Rockmart was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Robinson and charged with possession of meth, possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of schedule II narcotics, possession of schedule III narcotics and possession of drug related objects. Davis was released on 2/18 after posting five property bonds totaling $21,100.
Cathy Gibbons, 57, of Rockmart was arrested by Polk County deputies on a warrant for failure to appear in municipal court.
Clinton Ladell Haynes, 52, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer O'Neal on a warrant for failure to appear in municipal court. Haynes remains in custody at the time of this publication.
Kendrick Shaun Hulsey, 27, of Rockmart was arrested by Polk County deputies on a warrant for failure to appear in probate court. Hulsey remains in custody at the time of this publication.
Kieran Daquan Jackson, 18, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer O'Neal on a warrant for failure to appear in Cedartown municipal court. Jackson was released on 2/18 per the Cedartown Police Department.
Robert Jackson, 35, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer O'Neal and charged with driving on a suspended license. Jackson was released the same day after bonding out through the Cedartown Police Department.
Rebecca Darlene Newsome, 38, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer O'Neal on a warrant for failure to appear. Newsome remains in custody at the time of this publication.
Bobby Edward Perez, 39, of Cedartown was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Martin and charged with criminal trespass under the Family Violence Act (FVA), simple battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA) and probation violation. Perez remains in custody at the time of this publication.
Arthur Lee Pope Jr., 44, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer McClendon and charged with driving under the influence and tail light violation.
Michael Lamar Price, 21, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer O'Neal on warrants for failure to appear in municipal court, failure to appear in superior court and probation violation. Price remains in custody at the time of this publication.
Perry Melvin Strickland, 57, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer O'Neal on a warrant for failure to appear in Cedartown municipal court.
Heather Ruth Swift, 27, of Rockmart was arrested by Rockmart Police Officer Coppock and charged with driving under the influence of drugs and tag light violation. Swift was released the same day after bonding out through the Rockmart Police Department.
Phillip Anthony Womack, 50, of Rockmart was arrested by Rockmart Police Walters and charged with driving without a license, driving under the influence (less safe), failure to maintain lane and probation violation. Womack remains in custody at the time of this publication.
