Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Friday Feb. 15, 2013. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

Brandi Michelle Benefield, 37, of Cedartown was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Jones and charged with DUI and improper use of turning lane. Benefield remains in custody at the time of this publication. Benefield remains in custody at the time of this publication.

Terry Lamar Gipson, 24, of Cedartown was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Hearne and charged with battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA), cruelty to children under the Family Violence Act (FVA) and false imprisonment under the Family Violence Act (FVA). Emmett Michael Lyle, 50, of Aragon was arrested by Polk County deputies and charged with battery. Lyle was released the same day after posting a $3,100 property bond.
Paula Lynn Martin, 47, of Rockmart was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Lynch and charged with drugs not in original container and failure to appear in Rockmart municipal court. See also (8/11/2012)

Cindy D. Truett. 37, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown police and charged with driving under the influence (less safe), failure to maintain lane and tail light violation. Truett was released same day after bonding out through the Cedartown Police Department.
