Listed below is the report for Friday Feb. 1, 2013. The report includes a complete list of arrests, prior arrests, bonding information and inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the links to view prior arrests and/or additional details.
Joshua Lee Barnes, 30, of Cedartown was arrested by Polk County police and charged with simple battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA). Barnes was released on 2/2 after posting a $1,100 property bond. see also (1/5/2013) (11/29/2009)
Ricky Clay Barnette, 52, of was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer Young and charged with public drunk and open container. Barnette remains in custody at the time of this publication.
Jeana Lynn Carnes, 37, of Aragon was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Williams and charged with possession of a schedule III controlled substance, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, probation violation, criminal trespass and theft by taking. Carnes remains in custody at the time of this publication. Joe Carrasco of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown police and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance within 1000 feet of public housing, possession and use of drug related objects and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Steven Raymond Coolidge, 21, of Roopville was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Hearne and charged with pedestrian under the influence.
James Andrew Crawford, 21, of Aragon was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Williams and charged with possession of methamphetamine and theft by receiving stolen property. Crawford remains in custody at the time of this publication. Two property bonds totaling $5,100 have been set. Michael Dean Easterwood, 52, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer Yarbrough and charged with disorderly conduct. Easterwood was released on 2/2 after bonding out through the Cedartown Police Department. See also (1/12/2012) (9/20/2011)
Patricia Ann Gorski, 55, of Roopville was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Hearne and charged with pedestrian under the influence.
Ashley Nicole Meeks, 27, of Rockmart was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Williams and charged with theft by receiving stolen property and possession of methamphetamine. Meeks remains in custody at the time of this publication. Two property bonds totaling $5,100 have been set. Jeffery Smith of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown police and charged with DUI and no proof of insurance. Smith remains in custody at the time of this publication.
Jacob Edward Watson, 26, of Rockmart was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Logan and charged with driving on a suspended license and a warrant for failure to appear in municipal court. Watson remains in custody at the time of this publication. Two property bonds totaling $3,195 have been set. Dedric Maurice Wilson, 36, of Rockmart was arrested by Rockmart Police Officer Smith and charged with DUI (fourth or more conviction within 10 years), driving while declared a habitual violator and tail light violation.
