Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Saturday December 21, 2013. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report. Links to arrests prior to 2009 will not be included.

Wendy Sabrina Ballard, 41, of Aragon was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in Aragon municipal court. See also (7/29/2013)

Carl L Borders, 65, of Rockmart was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in magistrate court. Borders remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (7/30/2013)

Jill Porter Coats, 43, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, failure to maintain lane, driving with no license on person and a tail light violation. Coats was released the same day after posting four property bonds totaling $1,366.

Brian Scott Gilley, 46, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a sawed off shotgun and possession of drug related objects. Jory Alexander Haggard, 18, of Piedmont, AL was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamines, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of firearms during a crime, possession of sawed off shotgun, possession of drug related objects, failure to maintain lane and a seat belt violation. Haggard remains in custody at the time of this publication. Property bonds totaling $32,100 have been set.

Johnny Lee Hilliard, 31, of Cedartown was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in Cedartown municipal court and a hold for the DeKalb County, AL. sheriff's office. Vanessa R Mason, 36, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of crime, possession of a sawed off shotgun and possession of drug related objects. Mason remains in custody at the time of this publication. Property bonds totaling $30,100 have been set.

Thomas Joseph Peterson Jr., 20, of Cedar Bluff, AL was arrested and charged with DUI, failure to maintain lane and no tail light. Peterson was released on 12/22 after posting three property bonds totaling $1,912.

Crystal Lynn Phillips, 34, of Aragon was arrested on a warrant for probation violation. Phillips remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (10/31/2012) (11/18/2010) (10/7/2010) (7/3/2010)

April Ann Smith, 39, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with theft by shoplifting. Smith was released the same day after posting an $800 property bond.

Dakota Austin Stroud, 18, of Dallas was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in Cedartown municipal court. Stroud was released the same day after posting a $290 cash bond.
